April 1949 : Shinsuke Kasugai established a private printing company.
October 1953 : Started production of name plates.
November 1961 : Established Kasugai Manufacturing Co., Ltd. at the capital of ¥1 million. Installed Shinsuke Kasugai as representative director. Advanced into precision press production.
May 1971 : Started exclusive production of presses, and discontinued the production of name plates.
October 1971 : Established a principal office/factory in Kamine, Menuma Town.
July 1972 : Increased the capital to ¥3 million to expand and improve facilities.
November 1973 : Increased the capital to ¥6 million and purchased pressing machines.
February 1977 : Established the 2nd factory in Yatsukuchi, Menuma, as a factory exclusively used for the production of large presses, automatic presses and progressive presses.
February 1981 : Shinsuke Kasugai resigned as representative director. Masaomi Kasugai, managing director, was appointed as representative director.
October 1982 : Built a metal mold factory in the premise of the principal office/factory to expand the metal mold business.
April 1990 : Changed the company name to Kasugai Co., Ltd.
January 1993 : Established a new principal office/factory in the Menuma Higashi Industrial Complex.
December 1996 : Increased the capital to ¥10 million.
June 2000 : Obtained the international quality standard ISO9001.
June 2000 : Built an assembly line factory in the premise of the principal office/factory.
April 2003 : Established the 3rd factory in Menuma, Menuma Town.
February 2006 : Obtained the international environmental standard ISO14001 at the principal office.
March 2011 : Masaomi Kasugai, representative director, was appointed as chairman and representative director. Kazushige Kasugai, managing director, was appointed as representative director.
June 2012 : Established KASUGAI PRECISION DANYANG CO., LTD. to China.
August 2013 : Established the Menuma factory in the Menuma west Industrial park.
October 2013 : Obtained the international quality standard of the auto industry, ISO/TS16949.
October 2018 : Obtained the international quality standard of the auto industry, ISO/IATF16949.
